ABOUT
Empowering Youth for Justice
Inspired by the Innocence Project's work in overturning wrongful convictions, Youth for Innocence is a passionate collective of high school and college student volunteers dedicated to investigating wrongful convictions and helping innocent individuals reclaim their freedom. Through interactive training, we equip our youth with essential legal skills, empowering them to evaluate cases and collaborate with professionals to ensure justice prevails.

WHAT WE DO
Giving Innocence Hope
EVALUATING CASES
Connecting Lawyers and the Wrongfully Convicted
At Youth for Innocence, we summarize cases and examine new lines of evidence to determine whether a prisoner has enough evidence of innocence to overturn their conviction.
Reporter's Transcript Notes
RT Notes are heavily compacted summaries of the transcript of a trial. Requiring no special degree or advanced knowledge, they are the perfect way for beginners to get involved.
Investigating New Evidence
By exploring new leads and locating witnesses, we streamline the process for attorneys to discover the new evidence necessary for exoneration.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Educating Our Communities on Wrongful Convictions
Conservative estimates state that at least 1% of all prisoners, or around 20,000 people, are innocent. Yet, there have only been 3400 exonerations in the past 30 years. Through social media and our blog, we try to educate others on these massive disparities.
DONATE
Every donation that you make can help us hire outside assistance to uncover more evidence and reach out to more wrongfully convicted prisoners and other youth. With your financial aid, we can grow this organization to help every wrongfully convicted person get the justice they deserve.
